Cromer and Sheringham Solo and Quartet Contest
On Saturday 20th Nov 04 five members of the Band entered
the Sheringham and Cromer Solo and Quartet contest. Tony came second in
the Solo Slow Melody competition with The Lost Chord on Euphonium and the
Intermediate quartet (John, Emily, Ollie and Owen) came second too. Both
up against stiff competition and they both did very well with encouraging
comments from Alan Morrison the adjudicator (Principal Cornet Brighouse and
Rastrick).
